The buffer amp is a 0-22db  adjustable clean boost. The boost works best set between 0-10db which is more than you will ever need. Available as a stand alone unit or built right into the bypass strip. It can be used as a lead boost or to recover any lost signal from long lengths of cable or some tone sucking pedals. This box is 1 3/4" square tube and 3" wide. This boost was designed  for us by the late Bob Sweet of Sweet Sound Electronics.
