The mic stand holder can be added to your existing board. The mic stand slips into the coupler and slides all the way down to the bottom of the flange. It does not screw in. Once it is in the stand holder, just tighten the thumb screw. This is designed to accept screw based style mic stands. If you have a tripod style stand, you would need to cut the flange off at the bottom of the stand. This is a machined coupler and connector. Mounting bolts are included
